I’m Andy Dodds, a local lad with a love for creativity and craftsmanship. After a short stint in the Merchant Navy and a longer career in the Leisure & Tourism industry, I decided to follow my passion and turn my hobby into a business—and that’s how Moray Driftwood Designs was born.
I take great pride in crafting bespoke furniture, decorative pieces, and art from driftwood and reclaimed materials, each with its own unique story. There’s something truly special about bringing new life to these materials and seeing them find a home where they’ll be loved and cherished.
My workshop isn’t just where I create—it’s also home to a vibrant retail space, showcasing the work of around 60 talented local artists and crafters. We even run crafting workshops, bringing people together to share skills and creativity. I love being part of this community, helping to give small businesses and artisans a place to shine.
